We're on your side
We don't work for any one insurance company. We work for you. That means we'll always show you the plan that's best for your situation — not the one that makes us the most money.
No cost to you — ever
Our help does not cost you anything. Insurance companies pay us a small fee when you enroll — your monthly premium stays exactly the same whether you use an agent or not.

What Plans Include
Most plans available through Pinnacle First include helpful extras at little or no added cost. Here's what you can typically expect:
Dental care
Many plans cover regular cleanings, X-rays, fillings, and even dentures — things Original Medicare doesn't cover at all. No referral needed to see a dentist in the network.
Vision care
Most plans include a yearly eye exam and money toward new glasses or contacts. This is something Original Medicare doesn't typically pay for.
Hearing aids
Many plans give you a yearly allowance toward hearing exams and hearing aids — which can cost thousands out of pocket without coverage.
Prescription drugs
Most plans include drug coverage so you don't need a separate Part D plan. This covers everything from blood pressure pills to specialty medications.
Gym membership included
Many plans include a gym or fitness center membership (like SilverSneakers®) to help you stay active and healthy — included with your plan at no extra charge.
Monthly spending card
Some plans give you a monthly or quarterly allowance — like a debit card — to spend on everyday health items like vitamins, pain relievers, and first aid supplies.

Important Notices
⚠️ Independent agency — not a carrier
Pinnacle First is an independent, licensed insurance agency. We represent multiple Medicare Advantage carriers but are not affiliated with, employed by, or endorsed by any single carrier, the U.S. Government, or the federal Medicare program.📋 Plans subject to change
Medicare Advantage plan benefits, premiums, formularies, and provider networks may change on January 1 of each year. Enrollment depends on each carrier's annual contract renewal with CMS.🔒 Non-discrimination policy
Pinnacle First complies with applicable Federal civil rights laws and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, or sex.⛔ Out-of-network limitations
Out-of-network/non-contracted providers are under no obligation to treat plan members, except in emergency situations. Network and cost-sharing rules vary by carrier and plan type.Common Questions
What's the difference between Medicare Advantage and Original Medicare?
Original Medicare (Parts A and B) is run by the government and covers hospital stays and doctor visits. Medicare Advantage is offered by private insurance companies and covers everything Original Medicare does — plus extras like dental, vision, hearing, and drugs. Many people find they get more benefits for the same or lower cost.
Do I still pay my Medicare Part B premium if I join a Medicare Advantage plan?
Yes, you'll still pay your regular Medicare Part B premium to the government. On top of that, some Medicare Advantage plans charge an additional monthly premium — but many plans have a $0 additional premium. Some plans even help pay your Part B premium for you.
Can I keep my current doctor?
It depends on the plan. Some plans (called HMOs) require you to use doctors in their network. Others (called PPOs) let you see any Medicare-approved doctor, though you'll pay less if you stay in-network. When we help you choose a plan, we always check that your doctors are covered first.
Is there a limit on how much I can spend out of pocket?
Yes — and this is one of the biggest advantages over Original Medicare. Every Medicare Advantage plan has a yearly limit on what you'll pay out of your own pocket. Once you hit that limit, the plan pays 100% of covered costs. Original Medicare has no such limit.
Can I switch plans if I'm not happy?
Yes. Each year from October 15 to December 7, you can switch to any Medicare Advantage plan you want. You can also make one change between January 1 and March 31. We'll remind you each year and help you review your options.
What if I travel or spend part of the year in another state?
All Medicare Advantage plans cover emergency care anywhere in the U.S. If you split your time between states (like spending winters in Florida), a PPO plan is usually the best fit because it gives you more flexibility. Just ask us and we'll find the right solution.
